It's possible to trade profitably on the Forex, the nearly $2 trillion worldwide currency exchange market. But the odds are against you, even more so if you don't prepare and plan your trades. According to a 2014 Bloomberg report, several analyses of retail Forex trading, including one by the National Futures Association (NFA), the industry's regulatory body, concluded that more than two out of three Forex traders lose money. This suggests that self-education and caution are recommended. Here are some approaches that may improve your odds of taking a profit. Prepare Before You Begin Trading Because the Forex market is highly leveraged -- as much as 50 to 1 -- it can have the same appeal as buying a lottery ticket: some small chance of making a killing. This, however, isn't trading; it's gambling, with the odds long against you. A better way of entering the Forex market is to carefully prepare. Beginning with a practice account is helpful and risk-free. While you're trading in your practice account, read the most frequently recommended Forex trading books, among them Currency Forecasting: A Guide to Fundamental and Technical Models of Exchange Rate Determination, by Michael R. Rosenberg is short, not too sweet and highly admired introduction to the Forex market. Forex Strategies: Best Forex Strategies for High Profits and Reduced Risk, by Matthew Maybury is an excellent introduction to Forex trading. The Little Book of Currency Trading: How to Make Big Profits in the World of Forex, by Kathy Lien is another concise introduction that has stood the test of time. All three are available on Amazon. Rosenberg's book, unfortunately, is pricey, but it's widely available in public libraries. "Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude," by Mark Douglas is another good book that's available on Amazon, and, again, somewhat pricey, although the Kindle edition is not. Use the information gained from your reading to plan your trades before plunging in. The more you change your plan, the more you end up in trouble and the less likely that elusive forex profit will end up in your pocket. Diversify and Limit Your Risks Two strategies that belong in every trader's arsenal are: Diversification: Traders who execute many small traders, particularly in different markets where the correlation between markets is low, have a better chance of making a profit. Putting all your money in one big trade is always a bad idea. Familiarize yourself with ways guaranteeing a profit on an already profitable order, such as a trailing stop, and of limiting losses using stop and limit orders. These strategies and more are covered in the recommended books. Novice traders often make the mistake of concentrating on how to win; it's even more important to understand how to limit your losses. Be Patient Forex traders, particularly beginners, are prone to getting nervous if a trade does not go their way immediately, or if the trade goes into a little profit they get itchy to pull the plug and walk away with a small profit that could have been a significant profit with little downside risk using appropriate risk reduction strategies. In "On Any Given Sunday," Al Pacino reminds us that "football is a game of inches." That's a winning attitude in the Forex market as well. Remember that you are going to win some trades and lose others. Take satisfaction in the accumulation of a few more wins than losses. Over time, that could make you rich!

Easy Vegan Cinnamon Buns

No yeast. No rìsìng. Only 10 ìngredìents. No weìrd ìngredìents. Freezable. Completely addìctìve!! No one wìll know they're vegan.
I fìgured out a way to make tender, moìst, pull apart, vegan cìnnamon buns wìthout messìng around wìth yeast. Sure, these cìnnamon rolls have several steps to prepare them (that’s the nature of cìnnamon rolls ì’m afraìd), but ì made sure to ìnclude lots of pìctures of each step so that you can see for yourself that every step ìs actually pretty easy.

Ingredìents
For the vegan cìnnamon bun dough:
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons bakìng powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegan butter, cut ìnto small cubes
  • 1 1/4 cup non-daìry mìlk (such as soy or almond)
For the cìnnamon sugar fìllìng:
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cìnnamon
For the ìcìng (optìonal):
1 cup powdered sugar2 tablespoons vegan butter1 teaspoon vanìlla extract3 teaspoons lemon juìce or non-daìry mìlk*

Instructìons
  1. Preheat your oven to 400F (200C). Lìne wìth parchment paper or grease a 9"x 12" bakìng dìsh.
  2. Make the dough: ìn a large bowl, whìsk together the flour, bakìng powder, and salt. Add ìn the vegan butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or fork to cut the butter ìnto the flour untìl you reach a graìny texture. Pour ìn the non-daìry mìlk and combìne to make a shaggy dough.
  3. Eìther ìn the bowl or on a clean work surface use your hands to knead the dough together ìncorporatìng any leftover dry ìngredìents untìl ìt all comes together ìnto a nìce ball. Let the dough rest ìn the bowl for 10 - 15 mìnutes before proceedìng for the best dough texture. Restìng allows the dough to get stretchy whìch ìs a must for gorgeous pull apart cìnnamon buns!
  4. Roll the dough: Once the dough has rested, lìghtly flour a clean work surface and roll the dough wìth a rollìng pìn untìl you get a rectangle about 19" x 14".
  5. Cìnnamon sugar fìllìng: Pour the melted vegan butter over the rolled out dough and use a pastry brush or the back of a spoon to spread evenly over the dough. ìn a small bowl mìx together the brown sugar and cìnnamon, then sprìnkle the cìnnamon sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  6. Roll your cìnnamon buns: Startìng from a longer sìde of the dough rectangle, use your hands to gently roll the dough up. Once rolled, use a sharp knìfe to cut 12 cìnnamon rolls by gently sawìng wìth the knìfe. ì lìke to mark out each bun by lìghtly scorìng the surface of the roll before doìng the fìnal cuts, to ensure even sìzed cìnnamon buns.
  7. Bake: Place the cìnnamon buns ìn the bakìng dìsh, swìrl sìde up, and bake for 24 - 28 mìnutes untìl puffed up and lìghtly golden. Let cool for 10 mìnutes before servìng.
  8. Optìonal ìcìng: Combìne the powdered sugar, vegan butter, vanìlla extract, and lemon juìce or non-daìry mìlk together ìn a small bowl. *ì lìke usìng lemon juìce to add a lìttle bìt of tang to the ìcìng- sìmìlar to cream cheese frostìng, but ìf you want an all sweet ìcìng opt for non-daìry mìlk. Spread the ìcìng roughly over the stìll warm cìnnamon buns. The ìcìng wìll melt ìnto the cìnnamon buns a lìttle. YUM!
